Thomas E. Brownfield...
Born in Lynwood, CA, Mr. Brownfield grew up in El Toro (now Lake Forest), California and attended Mission Viejo High School for 3 years and was the first graduating class of the newly constructed El Toro High School in 1975.
In August of 1990, Mr. Brownfield fulfilled a life-long ambition, and enrolled in the J.D. program at Simon Greenleaf University where he earned his B.S.L. Degree in 1992 and his post graduate Juris Doctor Degree in May, 1994. His coursework included elective study in environmental and tax law.
Two years later, he earned a Master’s Degree in Christian Apologetics. His coursework included; Logic and Critical Thinking, Classical Theology, Philosophy of Religion, Archaeology and Scripture, and Study of New Testament Documents. He graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, in 1996. He accomplished this while working full time and supporting his family.
After passing the California BAR Exam, Mr. Brownfield worked in a law office in Laguna Niguel representing Home Owners and Home Owner Associations and litigated cases including CC&Rs enforcement and pre-litigation Civil Code Section 1375 Construction Defect Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Brownfield is admitted to the United States Federal Courts, Central District and Federal Bankruptcy Court Central District of California, and now practices bankruptcy law from his office in Santa Ana, and has represented clients in hundreds of cases in Los Angeles, Orange County, and Riverside judicial districts. He is a member of the California BAR and the Orange County BAR Association.
